We were set our first brief for one of the films (in semester 2) for production practise. This had to be a 90 second video showing a specific part of Liverpool to be entered in to the competition 'This is Liverpool' and be in with the chance of winning a load of money! Without even thinking about the brief we set off to film all of the great landmarks of Liverpool on top of the Liverpool tour bus as well as not thinking about the risks! woopsie....After we'd finished our tutor discovered what we had done and explained that because of the risks it might not be allowed! duh. I was NOT a happy bunny!
Luckily we were allowed to keep what we had of the bus but just make our story stronger by showing the start of the bus journey with the bus stopped, people getting on and the bus and then the ride ending. We filmed this on the morning of the deadline day and edited it all by 2pm! I was rather proud... I really wish I would have got a copy of this too :-(
